शत्रुं कृत्वा यः सहायं विश्वासमुपगच्छति । अतः संभाव्यमेवैतद्यद्राज्यं प्राप्नुयादिति॥५-१३३-३७॥
He who turns an enemy into an ally and then establishes trust—on that very ground it is indeed plausible that he may attain sovereignty.
