Having arrayed the host in formation, stand armed at the entrance of the assembly-hall, until I report this matter to Kṛṣṇa, whose deeds are unwearied.

english translation

Entering the assembly-hall, the hero—like a lion entering a mountain cave—communicated that intention to Keśava, the great-souled one.

english translation

Then he addressed Dhṛtarāṣṭra and also Vidura, and conveyed to them this intention, as if with a faint smile.

english translation

A course of action that has strayed from dharma and from sound advantage—censured by the virtuous—is what the misguided here wish to undertake; yet it cannot be brought to success in any way.

english translation

Earlier, the deluded—of harmful disposition—having assembled, behave perversely: driven by desire and agitation, and following the sway of anger and greed.
