english translation

“Go, dear one, to Gāndhārī—highly discerning and far-sighted. Bring her here; together with her I will attempt to persuade the misguided one.”

english translation

If she too can pacify that malevolent and ill-disposed man, then we may yet stand by the counsel of Kṛṣṇa, our well-wisher.

english translation

Even for one overpowered by greed, a capable word may still point out the proper path—though spoken to a person of poor judgment and hard to help.

english translation

May the dreadful calamity—great and wrought by Duryodhana—be pacified for us for a long time, so that stability and security may endure without depletion.
