प्रतीक्षिष्याम्यहं कालमेतावन्तं तथा परम् । यथा संसिध्यते विप्र स मार्गस्तु निशम्यताम्॥५-१११-२१॥
I will wait for this length of time, and even longer, O brāhmaṇa, so that it may be successfully accomplished; therefore, let that course be heard and considered.

सुपर्णोऽथाब्रवीद्दीनं गालवं भृशदुःखितम् । प्रत्यक्षं खल्विदानीं मे विश्वामित्रो यदुक्तवान्॥५-१११-२२॥
Then Suparṇa spoke to Gālava, dejected and deeply distressed: “Now indeed, what Viśvāmitra said to me has become directly evident.”

तदागच्छ द्विजश्रेष्ठ मन्त्रयिष्याव गालव । नादत्त्वा गुरवे शक्यं कृत्स्नमर्थं त्वयासितुम्॥५-१११-२३॥
Therefore come, best of the twice-born, O Gālava; let us deliberate. Without first giving to the teacher, you cannot accomplish the entire aim.
