असह्यं सर्वभूतानां ममापि विपुलं बलम् । मयापि सुमहत्कर्म कृतं दैतेयविग्रहे॥५-१०३-११॥
My strength too is immense and difficult for any being to withstand; I have also accomplished very great deeds in the engagements against the Daiteyas.
english translation
श्रुतश्रीः श्रुतसेनश्च विवस्वान्रोचनामुखः । प्रसभः कालकाक्षश्च मयापि दितिजा हताः॥५-१०३-१२॥
“Śrutaśrī, Śrutasena, Vivasvān, Rocanāmukha, Prasabha, and Kālakākṣa—these adversaries born of Diti were likewise subdued and destroyed by me.”
english translation
यत्तु ध्वजस्थानगतो यत्नात्परिचराम्यहम् । वहामि चैवानुजं ते तेन मामवमन्यसे॥५-१०३-१३॥
“Because I remain stationed at your banner and attend upon you with effort—and because I also bear your younger brother—you therefore treat me with contempt.”
english translation
कोऽन्यो भारसहो ह्यस्ति कोऽन्योऽस्ति बलवत्तरः । मया योऽहं विशिष्टः सन्वहामीमं सबान्धवम्॥५-१०३-१४॥
“Who else can bear such a burden? Who else is stronger? It is because I am preeminent in strength that I carry this one, together with his companions.”
english translation
अवज्ञाय तु यत्तेऽहं भोजनाद्व्यपरोपितः । तेन मे गौरवं नष्टं त्वत्तश्चास्माच्च वासव॥५-१०३-१५॥
“But since, after being slighted, I was removed from my share of sustenance, my honor has been diminished—because of you, and because of me as well, O Vāsava.”
