तथातुतौसंम्यतिसम्प्रयुक्तौ । तरस्विनौवानरराक्षसानाम् । बलार्णवौ सस्वनतुः सभीमं । महार्णवौ द्वाविव भिन्नवेलौ ॥ ६-९७-३५

Thus, both close to each other, both redoubtable armies, of Vanaras and Rakshasas, both powerful and terrific, both mighty, roared as if the great ocean had burst their bounds. ॥ 6-97-35॥

tathAtutausaMmyatisamprayuktau । tarasvinauvAnararAkSasAnAm । balArNavau sasvanatuH sabhImaM । mahArNavau dvAviva bhinnavelau ॥ 6-97-35
