तेजसासंप्रदीप्ताग्रांरक्तमाल्यविभूषिताम् । ऐरावतमहापद्मसार्वभौमभयावहाम् ॥ ६-७०-५३
- an effulgent one whose head has been glowing decorated with red flower garlands that brought terror to Airavatam, Mahapadma, and Sarvabhuama, the three elephants guarding the three of the four quarters. [6-70-53]

गदामादायसङ्कृद्धोमत्तोराक्षसपुङ्गवः । हरीन् समभिदुद्रावयुगान्तानगिरिवज्वलन् ॥ ६-७०-५४
Matta (Mahaparshva), the Rakshasa leader became very furious and took hold of the mace glowing like fire, at the time of dissolution of the universe and scattered the monkeys. [6-70-54]

अथर्षभस्समुत्पत्यवानरोरावणानुजम् । मत्तानीकमुपागम्यतस्थौतस्याग्रतोबली ॥ ६-७०-५५
Rshaba, the bull among Vanaras endowed with prowess, springing up came and stood in front of Mahaparsva. [6-70-55]
