असिताञ्जनसङ्काशान् युद्धेसत्यपराक्रमान् । असङ् ख्येयाननिर्देश्यान्परंपारमिवोदधेः ॥ ६-२७-६
- black in colour like collyrium, who are of unfailing valour in war, innumerable in numbers, like the small particles of sand on the other bank of ocean, who cannot be counted . - [6-27-6]
english translation
पर्वतेषुचयेकेचिद्विषमेषुनदीषुच । एतेत्वामभिवर्तन्तेराजन्नृक्षास्सुदारुणाः ॥ ६-२७-७
- are moving towards you. They are from mountains, riverbanks, and difficult locations. O King! those highly ferocious Bears are advancing towards you. [6-27-7]
english translation
एषांमध्येस्थितोराजन्भीमाक्षोभीमदर्शनः । पर्जन्यइवजीमूतैस्समन्तात्परिवारितः ॥ ६-२७-८
"O king! In the midst of these (Vanaras) stands one with frightening eyes and fearful looks, just like Parjanya (RainGod) is surrounded by clouds - [6-27-8]

ऋक्षवन्तंगिरिश्रेष्ठमध्यास्तेनर्मदांपिबन् । सर्वऋक्षाणामधिपतिर्धूम्रोनामैषयूथपः ॥ ६-२७-९
- is the Lord of all these Bears called Dhumra, the army-chief. He dwells at the great Rkshavana mountain drinking Narmada's (river) water. [6-27-9]
english translation
यवीयानस्यतुभ्रातापश्यैनंपर्वतोपमम् । भ्रात्रासमानोरूपेणविशिष्टस्तुपराक्रमैः ॥ ६-२७-१०
"See this one like a mountain, he is the younger brother of Dhumra. Even though he is similar to his brother in body form and his valour is great. [6-27-10]
