यदैववानरैर्घोरैर्बद्धस्सेतुर्महार्णवे । तदैवहृदयेनाहंशङ्केरामममानुषम् ॥ ६-११४-११

"When these terrific Vanaras constructed a bridge over the great ocean, I doubted in my mind at that time itself that Rama is not a mortal." [6-114-11]

english translation

अथवारामरूपेणकृतान्तस्स्वयमागतः । मायांतवविनाशायविधायाप्रतितर्किताम् ॥ ६-११४-१२

"Or else, the god of death would have come in the form of Rama for your destruction, having right knowledge and taking an inconceivable recourse.'' [6-114-12]

english translation

अथवावासवेनत्वंधर्षितोऽपिमहाबल । वासवस्यतुकाशक्तिस्त्वांद्रष्टुमपिसंयुगे ॥ ६-११४-१३

"O the mighty lord! Otherwise, you might have been overpowered by Indra the lord of celestials. But for Indra, where is the capacity even to behold you in battle?'' [6-114-13]

english translation

व्यक्तमेषमहायोगीपरमात्मासनातनः । अनादिमध्यनिधनोमहतंपरमोमहान् ॥ ६-११४-१४

"This Rama is certainly a great ascetic, an eternal person, having no beginning middle or end, greater than distinguished universal spirit like Brahma - [6-114-14]

english translation

तमसःपरमोधाताशङ्खचक्रगदाधरः । श्रीवत्सवक्षानित्यश्रीरजय्यश्शाश्वतोध्रुवः ॥ ६-११४-१५

- the one beyond ignorance, the nourisher, wielding a conch, a disc and a mace, wearing the 'Srivatsa' mark on his chest, of lasting beauty, incapable of being conquered, a perpetual one, being the constant soul . - [6-114-15]
