आसाद्य पर्वतश्रेष्ठं त्रिः प्रक्रम्य गिरेः शिरः । प्लुल्लनानातरुगणं समुत्पाट्य महाबलः ॥ ६-१०२-३१

Having reached the foremost of the mountains, the mighty one (Hanuman) shook the summit three times and broken it off, with its multitudinous trees in full bloom. [6-102-31]

english translation

गृहीत्वाहरिशार्दूलोहस्ताभ्यांसमतोलयत् । सनीलमिवजीमूतंतोयपूर्णंनभस्तलात् ॥ ६-१०२-३२

The tiger among Vanaras (Hanuman) seized it (the mountain) and balanced it with his two hands. Like a dark cloud filled with water carried by wind into the sky - [6-102-32]

english translation

उत्पपातगृहीत्वातुहनूमान् शिखरंगिरेः । समागम्यमहावेगःसंन्यस्यशिखरंगिरेः ॥ ६-१०२-३३

- Hanuman held the mountain peak and jumped up (into the sky). Arriving at high speed with the mountain peak and letting it down - [6-102-33]

english translation

विश्रम्यकिञ्चिद्धनुमान्सुषेणमिदमब्रवीत् । ओषधीर्नावगच्छामिताअहंहरिपुङ्गव ॥ ६-१०२-३४

- and resting for a while, Hanuman spoke as follows. "O leader of the Vanaras! I did not know those herbs". [6-102-34]

english translation

तदिदंशिखरंकृत्स्नंगिरेस्तस्याहृतंमया । एवंकथयमानंतुप्रशस्यपवनात्मजम् ॥ ६-१०२-३५

"So, the mountain peak was brought here by me. Applauding the son of wind god, who was thus narrating his trip - [6-102-35]
