ततः परसव संतानं चिन्तयन भगवान ऋषिः आत्मनः परसवस्यार्थे नापश्यत सदृशीं सत्रियम ॥ ३-९४-१६ ॥
'The illustrious Rishi then pondered how to perpetuate his lineage. However, he could find no worthy wife upon whom he could bestow his seed to beget a son.' ॥ 3-94-16 ॥
english translation
स तस्य तस्य सत्त्वस्य तत तद अङ्गम अनुत्तमम संभृत्य तत समैर अङ्गैर निर्ममे सत्रियम उत्तमाम ॥ ३-९४-१७ ॥
'The Rishi, therefore, selected the most beautiful parts from various beings and fashioned an exquisite woman with them.' ॥ 3-94-17 ॥
english translation
स तां विदर्भराजाय पुत्र कामाय ताम्यते निर्मिताम आत्मनॊ ऽरथाय मुनिः परादान महातपः ॥ ३-९४-१८ ॥
'The sage, endowed with great ascetic merit, then presented the girl he had created for himself to the king of Vidarbha, who was performing ascetic penances in his quest for offspring.' ॥ 3-94-18 ॥
english translation
सा तत्र जज्ञे सुभगा विद्युत्सौदामनी यथा विभ्राजमाना वपुसा वयवर्धत शुभानना ॥ ३-९४-१९ ॥
'And that blessed girl, with a sweet face, took her birth in the royal lineage of Vidarbha. Radiant as effulgent lightning, her limbs grew more beautiful with each passing day.' ॥ 3-94-19 ॥

जातमात्रां च तां दृष्ट्वा वैदर्भः पृथिवीपतिः परहर्षेण दविजातिभ्यॊ नयवेदयत भारत ॥ ३-९४-२० ॥
'And as soon as that lord of the earth—the ruler of Vidarbha—saw her come into the world, he joyfully informed the Brahmanas of the news, O Bharata.' ॥ 3-94-20 ॥
