लॊमशं समनुज्ञाप्य धौम्यं चैव पुरॊहितम ततः स पाण्डवश्रेष्ठॊ भरातृभिः सहितॊ वशी दरौपद्या चानवद्याङ्ग्या गमनाय मनॊ दधे ॥ ३-९१-१६ ॥
'With the permission of Lomasha and his priest Dhaumya, the foremost among the sons of Pandu, possessing complete self-control, resolved to set out, accompanied by his brothers and the flawless daughter of Drupada.' ॥ 3-91-16 ॥

अथ वयासॊ महाभागस तथा नारद पर्वतौ काम्यके पाण्डवं दरष्टुं समाजग्मुर मनीषिणः ॥ ३-९१-१७ ॥
'At that moment, the blessed Vyasa, along with Parvata and Narada, all endowed with great wisdom, arrived at Kamyaka to see the son of Pandu.' ॥ 3-91-17 ॥

तेषां युधिष्ठिरॊ राजा पूजां चक्रे यथाविधि सत्कृतास ते महाभागा युधिष्ठिरम अथाब्रुवन ॥ ३-९१-१८ ॥
'Upon seeing them, King Yudhishthira honored them with the appropriate rites. After being thus worshipped by the king, those blessed sages addressed Yudhishthira.' ॥ 3-91-18 ॥

युधिष्ठिर यमौ भीम मनसा कुरुतार्जवम मनसा कृतशौचा वौ शुद्धास तीर्थानि गच्छत ॥ ३-९१-१९ ॥
'O Yudhishthira, O Bhima, and you twins, cast aside all evil thoughts from your minds. Purify your hearts, and then set out for the sacred places.' ॥ 3-91-19 ॥

शरीरनियमं हय आहुर बराह्मणा मानुषं वरतम मनॊविशुद्धां बुद्धिं च दैवम आहुर वरतं दविजाः ॥ ३-९१-२० ॥
'The Brahmanas have stated that adherence to bodily regulations is regarded as an earthly vow, while the endeavor to purify the heart from evil thoughts is considered a spiritual vow.' ॥ 3-91-20 ॥
