यदि ते बराह्मणेष्व अस्ति का चित परीतिर जनाधिप कुरु कषिप्रं वचॊ ऽसमाकं ततः शरेयॊ ऽभिपत्स्यसे ।। ३-९१-११ ।।

sanskrit

'If, O lord of men, you have any regard for the Brahmanas, then act swiftly upon our request. In doing so, you will surely attain prosperity.' ।। 3-91-11 ।।

english translation

yadi te barAhmaNeSva asti kA cita parItira janAdhipa kuru kaSipraM vacò 'samAkaM tataH zareyò 'bhipatsyase || 3-91-11 ||

'O mighty-armed one, the sacred places are overrun by Rakshasas who constantly hinder ascetic practices. It is your duty to protect us from them.' ।। 3-91-12 ।।

tIrthAni hi mahAbAhò tapòvighnakaraiH sadA anukIrNAni rakSòbhisa tebhyò nasa tarAtuma arhasi || 3-91-12 ||

'Guided by Lomasha and taking us with you, visit all the sacred places mentioned by Dhaumya and the wise Narada, as well as those revealed by the celestial sage Lomasha, endowed with great ascetic power. By doing so, you shall be cleansed of all your sins.' ।। 3-91-13 ।।

tIrthAnya uktAni dhaumyena nAradena ca dhImatA yAnya uvAca ca devarSira lòmazaH sumahAtapAH || 3-91-13 ||

'Thus respectfully addressed by them, the king—who is like a bull among the sons of Pandu—surrounded by his valiant brothers led by Bhima, and with tears of joy in his eyes, spoke to all the ascetics, 'Let it be so.'' ।। 3-91-15 ।।
