तीर्थानि हि महाबाहॊ तपॊविघ्नकरैः सदा अनुकीर्णानि रक्षॊभिस तेभ्यॊ नस तरातुम अर्हसि ॥ ३-९१-१२ ॥
'O mighty-armed one, the sacred places are overrun by Rakshasas who constantly hinder ascetic practices. It is your duty to protect us from them.' ॥ 3-91-12 ॥
