मनॊ हय अदुष्टं शूराणां पर्याप्तं वै नराधिप मैत्रीं बुद्धिं समास्थाय शुद्धास तीर्थानि गच्छत ॥ ३-९१-२१ ॥
'O king, the mind that is free from all evil thoughts is truly pure. Therefore, purify yourselves and cultivate friendly feelings towards all as you behold the sacred places.' ॥ 3-91-21 ॥
english translation
manò haya aduSTaM zUrANAM paryAptaM vai narAdhipa maitrIM buddhiM samAsthAya zuddhAsa tIrthAni gacchata ॥ 3-91-21 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptते यूयं मानसैः शुद्धाः शरीरनियम वरतैः दैवं वरतं समास्थाय यथॊक्तं फलम आप्स्यथ ॥ ३-९१-२२ ॥
'By observing earthly vows related to your bodies and purifying your minds through spiritual vows, you shall attain the fruits of pilgrimage as described.' ॥ 3-91-22 ॥
english translation
te yUyaM mAnasaiH zuddhAH zarIraniyama varataiH daivaM varataM samAsthAya yathòktaM phalama Apsyatha ॥ 3-91-22 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptते तथेति परतिज्ञाय कृष्णया सह पाण्डवाः कृतस्वस्त्ययनाः सर्वे मुनिभिर दिव्यमानुषैः ॥ ३-९१-२३ ॥
'Responding with 'So be it,' the Pandavas, along with Krishna, had the celestial and human sages perform the customary propitiatory ceremonies.' ॥ 3-91-23 ॥

te tatheti paratijJAya kRSNayA saha pANDavAH kRtasvastyayanAH sarve munibhira divyamAnuSaiH ॥ 3-91-23 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptलॊमशस्यॊपसंगृह्य पादौ दवैपायनस्य च नारदस्य च राजेन्द्र देवर्षेः पर्वतस्य च ॥ ३-९१-२४ ॥
'Those heroes, having worshipped the feet of Lomasha, Dvaipayana, Narada, and the celestial sage Parvata.' ॥ 3-91-24 ॥

lòmazasyòpasaMgRhya pAdau davaipAyanasya ca nAradasya ca rAjendra devarSeH parvatasya ca ॥ 3-91-24 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptधौम्येन सहिता वीरास तथान्यैर वनवासिभिः मार्गशीर्ष्याम अतीतायां पुष्येण परययुस ततः ॥ ३-९१-२५ ॥
'O king, along with Dhaumya and the ascetics who had been residing with them in the forest, set out on the day following the full moon of Agrahayana, when the constellation Pushya was ascendant.' ॥ 3-91-25 ॥

dhaumyena sahitA vIrAsa tathAnyaira vanavAsibhiH mArgazIrSyAma atItAyAM puSyeNa parayayusa tataH ॥ 3-91-25 ॥
