कठिनानि समादाय चीराजिनजटाधराः अभेद्यैः कवचैर युक्तास तीर्थान्य अन्वचरंस तदा ॥ ३-९१-२६ ॥
'Dressed in bark and hides, with matted locks upon their heads, they were all clad in impenetrable armor and armed with swords ' ॥ 3-91-26 ॥

इन्द्रसेनादिभिर भृत्यै रथैः परिचतुर्दशैः महानस वयापृतैश च तथान्यैः परिचारकैः ॥ ३-९१-२७ ॥
'Accompanied by Indrasena and other attendants with fourteen chariots, along with skilled cooks and various other servants.' ॥ 3-91-27 ॥

सायुधा बद्धनिष्ट्रिंशास तूणवन्तः स मार्गणाः पराङ मुखाः परययुर वीराः पाण्डवा जनमेजय ॥ ३-९१-२८ ॥
'The armed warriors, with swords fastened to their waists, and with quivers, Turned their faces away and departed, the heroic Pandavas, O Janamejaya.' ॥ 3-91-28 ॥
