यच च मां भगवान आह तीर्थानां दर्शनं परति धौम्यस्य वचनाद एषा बुद्धिः पूर्वं कृतैव मे ।। ३-९०-१६ ।।

sanskrit

'Regarding your words, O illustrious one, about the journey to the tirthas, my mind had already been set by the counsel of Dhaumya.' ।। 3-90-16 ।।

english translation

yaca ca mAM bhagavAna Aha tIrthAnAM darzanaM parati dhaumyasya vacanAda eSA buddhiH pUrvaM kRtaiva me || 3-90-16 ||

'O Brahmana, I am ready to embark on the journey to the tirthas at any hour you deem suitable. This is indeed my unwavering resolve!' ।। 3-90-17 ।।

tada yadA manyase barahmana gamanaM tIrthadarzane tadaiva gantAsmi dRDhama eSa me nizcayaH paraH || 3-90-17 ||

[व] गमने कृतबुद्धिं तं पाण्डवं लॊमशॊ ऽबरवीत लघुर भव महाराज लघुः सवैरं गमिष्यसि ।। ३-९०-१८ ।।

'Vaisampayana continued, "Then Lomasa addressed Yudhishthira, who had firmly resolved to embark on the journey, saying, 'O mighty king, travel light with your entourage, for doing so will make your journey much easier!'"' ।। 3-90-18 ।।

[va] gamane kRtabuddhiM taM pANDavaM lòmazò 'baravIta laghura bhava mahArAja laghuH savairaM gamiSyasi || 3-90-18 ||

'Let the alms-eaters, the Brahmanas, and the ascetics depart, As well as those citizens who have followed, motivated by loyalty to the king.' ।। 3-90-19 ।।

[ya] bikSA bhujò nivartantAM barAhmaNA yatayaza ca ye ye cApya anugatAH paurA rAjabhaktipuraskRtAH || 3-90-19 ||

धृतराष्ट्रं महाराजम अभिगच्छन्तु चैव ते स दास्यति यथाकालम उचिता यस्य या भृतिः ।। ३-९०-२० ।।

'Let those citizens who have accompanied me out of loyalty, and whom I have faithfully supported, return to King Dhritarashtra. He will provide them with their allowances in a timely manner.' ।। 3-90-20 ।।

dhRtarASTraM mahArAjama abhigacchantu caiva te sa dAsyati yathAkAlama ucitA yasya yA bhRtiH || 3-90-20 ||
