यच च मां भगवान आह तीर्थानां दर्शनं परति धौम्यस्य वचनाद एषा बुद्धिः पूर्वं कृतैव मे ॥ ३-९०-१६ ॥
'Regarding your words, O illustrious one, about the journey to the tirthas, my mind had already been set by the counsel of Dhaumya.' ॥ 3-90-16 ॥
english translation
तद यदा मन्यसे बरह्मन गमनं तीर्थदर्शने तदैव गन्तास्मि दृढम एष मे निश्चयः परः ॥ ३-९०-१७ ॥
'O Brahmana, I am ready to embark on the journey to the tirthas at any hour you deem suitable. This is indeed my unwavering resolve!' ॥ 3-90-17 ॥
english translation
[व] गमने कृतबुद्धिं तं पाण्डवं लॊमशॊ ऽबरवीत लघुर भव महाराज लघुः सवैरं गमिष्यसि ॥ ३-९०-१८ ॥
'Vaisampayana continued, "Then Lomasa addressed Yudhishthira, who had firmly resolved to embark on the journey, saying, 'O mighty king, travel light with your entourage, for doing so will make your journey much easier!'"' ॥ 3-90-18 ॥

[य] बिक्षा भुजॊ निवर्तन्तां बराह्मणा यतयश च ये ये चाप्य अनुगताः पौरा राजभक्तिपुरस्कृताः ॥ ३-९०-१९ ॥
'Let the alms-eaters, the Brahmanas, and the ascetics depart, As well as those citizens who have followed, motivated by loyalty to the king.' ॥ 3-90-19 ॥
english translation
धृतराष्ट्रं महाराजम अभिगच्छन्तु चैव ते स दास्यति यथाकालम उचिता यस्य या भृतिः ॥ ३-९०-२० ॥
'Let those citizens who have accompanied me out of loyalty, and whom I have faithfully supported, return to King Dhritarashtra. He will provide them with their allowances in a timely manner.' ॥ 3-90-20 ॥
