तत्रॊपस्पृश्य राजेन्द्र कृत्वा चापि परदक्षिणम नियतात्मा नरः पूतॊ गच्छेत परमां गतिम ॥ ३-८३-६१ ॥

'O King of kings (Rajendra), after touching the water there and circumambulating, A person with a controlled mind, purified, would attain the highest state.' ॥ 3-83-61 ॥

english translation

tatròpaspRzya rAjendra kRtvA cApi paradakSiNama niyatAtmA naraH pUtò gaccheta paramAM gatima ॥ 3-83-61 ॥

ततॊ गच्छेत कुरुश्रेष्ठ शृङ्गवेर पुरं महत यत्र तीर्णॊ महाराज रामॊ दाशरथिः पुरा ॥ ३-८३-६२ ॥

'Then, O mighty king, one should proceed to the revered Sringaverapura, where Rama, the son of Dasharatha, once crossed the Ganga.' ॥ 3-83-62 ॥

tatò gaccheta kuruzreSTha zRGgavera puraM mahata yatra tIrNò mahArAja rAmò dAzarathiH purA ॥ 3-83-62 ॥

गङ्गायां तु नरः सनात्वा बरह्म चारी समाहितः विधूतपाप्मा भवति वाजपेयं च विन्दति ॥ ३-८३-६३ ॥

'Moreover, by bathing in the Ganga with controlled senses and leading a Brahmacharya life, one not only washes away every sin but also gains the merit of the Vajapeya sacrifice.' ॥ 3-83-63 ॥

gaGgAyAM tu naraH sanAtvA barahma cArI samAhitaH vidhUtapApmA bhavati vAjapeyaM ca vindati ॥ 3-83-63 ॥

अभिगम्य महादेवम अभ्यर्च्य च नराधिप परदक्षिणम उपावृत्य गाणपत्यम अवाप्नुयात ॥ ३-८३-६४ ॥

'Next, one should proceed to Mayuravata, consecrated to the highly intelligent Mahadeva. Upon seeing the deity, bowing in reverence, and circumambulating the sacred place, one attains the esteemed status of Ganapati, O Bharata.' ॥ 3-83-64 ॥

abhigamya mahAdevama abhyarcya ca narAdhipa paradakSiNama upAvRtya gANapatyama avApnuyAta ॥ 3-83-64 ॥

ततॊ गच्छेत राजेन्द्र परयागम ऋषिसंस्तुतम यत्र बरह्मादयॊ देवा दिशश च स दिग ईश्वराः ॥ ३-८३-६५ ॥

'By bathing in the Ganga at that sacred tirtha, one is cleansed of all sins. Then, O king, one should proceed to Prayaga, which has been glorified by the Rishis.' ॥ 3-83-65 ॥

tatò gaccheta rAjendra parayAgama RSisaMstutama yatra barahmAdayò devA dizaza ca sa diga IzvarAH ॥ 3-83-65 ॥
