तत्र मासं वसेद धीरॊ नियतॊ नियताशनः बरह्मलॊकं वरजेद राजन पुनीते च कुलं नरः ॥ ३-८३-५१ ॥
'In that tirtha, O hero, one should reside for a month, with subdued senses and a disciplined diet. By doing so, O king, one ascends to the realm of Brahma and also uplifts his lineage.' ॥ 3-83-51 ॥
english translation
मेधाविकं समासाद्य पितॄन देवांश च तर्पयेत अग्निष्टॊमम अवाप्नॊति समृतिं मेधां च विन्दति ॥ ३-८३-५२ ॥
'Upon reaching Medhavika, one should offer water oblations to the gods and the Pitris. Through this act, one attains the merit of the Agnishtoma sacrifice, along with enhanced memory and intellect.' ॥ 3-83-52 ॥

ततः कालंजरं गत्वा पर्वतं लॊकविश्रुतम तत्र देव हरदे सनात्वा गॊसहस्रफलं लभेत ॥ ३-८३-५३ ॥
'In that sacred place lies the renowned mountain Kalanjara, known throughout the world. By bathing in the celestial lake there, one earns the merit of giving away a thousand kine.' ॥ 3-83-53 ॥

आत्मानं साधयेत तत्र गिरौ कालंजरे नृप सवर्गलॊके महीयेत नरॊ नास्त्य अत्र संशयः ॥ ३-८३-५४ ॥
'Furthermore, O king, he who, after his bath, offers oblations to the gods and the Pitris on Kalanjara mountain is, without a doubt, esteemed in heaven.' ॥ 3-83-54 ॥

ततॊ गिरिवरश्रेष्ठे चित्रकूटे विशां पते मन्दाकिनीं समासाद्य नदीं पापप्रमॊचिनीम ॥ ३-८३-५५ ॥
'Next, O monarch, one should proceed to the Mandakini River, which is renowned for its power to cleanse all sins, flowing from the illustrious mountain of Chitrakuta.' ॥ 3-83-55 ॥
