मणिनागं ततॊ गत्वा गॊसहस्रफलं लभेत नैत्यकं भुञ्जते यस तु मणिनागस्य मानवः ।। ३-८२-९१ ।।

sanskrit

'Proceeding next to Maṇināga, one attains the merit of giving away a thousand kine. O Bharata, he who consumes anything associated with the tirtha of Maṇināga, even if bitten by a venomous snake, does not succumb to its poison.' ।। 3-82-91 ।।

english translation

maNinAgaM tatò gatvA gòsahasraphalaM labheta naityakaM bhuJjate yasa tu maNinAgasya mAnavaH || 3-82-91 ||

दष्टस्याशीविषेणापि न तस्य करमते विषम तत्रॊष्य रजनीम एकां सर्वपापैः परमुच्यते ।। ३-८२-९२ ।।

sanskrit

'Even if bitten by a venomous snake, the poison does not affect him. Staying there for one night, one is freed from all sins.' ।। 3-82-92 ।।

english translation

daSTasyAzIviSeNApi na tasya karamate viSama tatròSya rajanIma ekAM sarvapApaiH paramucyate || 3-82-92 ||

ततॊ गच्छेत बरह्मर्षेर गौतमस्य वनं नृप अहल्याया हलदे सनात्वा वरजेत परमां गतिम अभिगम्य शरियं राजन विन्दते शरियम उत्तमाम ।। ३-८२-९३ ।।

sanskrit

'One should then proceed to the beloved grove of the Brahmarshi Gautama. Bathing in the lake of Ahalya, one attains an exalted state. Furthermore, by beholding the image of Sree, one acquires great prosperity.' ।। 3-82-93 ।।

english translation

tatò gaccheta barahmarSera gautamasya vanaM nRpa ahalyAyA halade sanAtvA varajeta paramAM gatima abhigamya zariyaM rAjana vindate zariyama uttamAma || 3-82-93 ||

तत्रॊद पानॊ धर्मज्ञ तरिषु लॊकेषु विश्रुतः तत्राभिषेकं कृत्वा तु वाजिमेधम अवाप्नुयात ।। ३-८२-९४ ।।

n that tirtha lies a well renowned throughout the three worlds. Bathing in it grants one the merit of the horse-sacrifice.' ।। 3-82-94 ।।

जनकस्य तु राजर्षेः कूपस तरिदशपूजितः तत्राभिषेकं कृत्वा तु विष्णुलॊकम अवाप्नुयात ।। ३-८२-९५ ।।

'There is also a well, sacred to the royal sage Janaka, revered by the gods. Bathing in this well, one ascends to the realm of Vishnu.' ।। 3-82-95 ।।

janakasya tu rAjarSeH kUpasa taridazapUjitaH tatrAbhiSekaM kRtvA tu viSNulòkama avApnuyAta || 3-82-95 ||
