sanskrit

'Next, O son of the Kuru race, by proceeding to the Rāma-tirtha on the Gomati and bathing there, one gains the merit of the horse sacrifice and purifies one's own lineage.' ।। 3-82-66 ।।

english translation

rAma tIrthe naraH sanAtvA gòmatyAM kurunandana azvamedhama avApnòti punAti ca kulaM naraH || 3-82-66 ||

'There, O bull of the Bharata race, lies another tirtha known as Shatasahasrika. By bathing there, with controlled senses and a regulated diet, one reaps the merit of donating a thousand cows, O best of the Bharata race.' ।। 3-82-67 ।।

ततॊ गच्छेत राजेन्द्र भर्तृस्थानम अनुत्तमम कॊटितीर्थे नरः सनात्वा अर्चयित्वा गुहं नृप गॊसहस्रफलं विन्देत तेजस्वी च भवेन नरः ।। ३-८२-६८ ।।

'Then, O king, one should proceed to the unmatched tirtha known as Bhartṛṣṭhāna, where one attains the merit of the horse sacrifice. After bathing in the Koti tirtha and worshipping Kartikeya, a person, O king, reaps the merit of donating a thousand cows and gains great energy.' ।। 3-82-68 ।।

'Next, by proceeding to Vārāṇasī and worshipping the deity marked by the bull, and after bathing in the Kapilā river, one attains the merit of the Rājasūya sacrifice.' ।। 3-82-69 ।।
