राम तीर्थे नरः सनात्वा गॊमत्यां कुरुनन्दन अश्वमेधम अवाप्नॊति पुनाति च कुलं नरः ॥ ३-८२-६६ ॥
'Next, O son of the Kuru race, by proceeding to the Rāma-tirtha on the Gomati and bathing there, one gains the merit of the horse sacrifice and purifies one's own lineage.' ॥ 3-82-66 ॥
english translation
rAma tIrthe naraH sanAtvA gòmatyAM kurunandana azvamedhama avApnòti punAti ca kulaM naraH ॥ 3-82-66 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशतसाहस्रिकं तत्र तीर्थं भरतसत्तम तत्रॊपस्पर्शनं कृत्वा नियतॊ नियताशनः गॊसहस्रफलं पुण्यं पराप्नॊति भरतर्षभ ॥ ३-८२-६७ ॥
'There, O bull of the Bharata race, lies another tirtha known as Shatasahasrika. By bathing there, with controlled senses and a regulated diet, one reaps the merit of donating a thousand cows, O best of the Bharata race.' ॥ 3-82-67 ॥
english translation
zatasAhasrikaM tatra tIrthaM bharatasattama tatròpasparzanaM kRtvA niyatò niyatAzanaH gòsahasraphalaM puNyaM parApnòti bharatarSabha ॥ 3-82-67 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततॊ गच्छेत राजेन्द्र भर्तृस्थानम अनुत्तमम कॊटितीर्थे नरः सनात्वा अर्चयित्वा गुहं नृप गॊसहस्रफलं विन्देत तेजस्वी च भवेन नरः ॥ ३-८२-६८ ॥
'Then, O king, one should proceed to the unmatched tirtha known as Bhartṛṣṭhāna, where one attains the merit of the horse sacrifice. After bathing in the Koti tirtha and worshipping Kartikeya, a person, O king, reaps the merit of donating a thousand cows and gains great energy.' ॥ 3-82-68 ॥

tatò gaccheta rAjendra bhartRsthAnama anuttamama kòTitIrthe naraH sanAtvA arcayitvA guhaM nRpa gòsahasraphalaM vindeta tejasvI ca bhavena naraH ॥ 3-82-68 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततॊ वाराणसीं गत्वा अर्चयित्वा वृषध्वजम कपिला हरदे नरः सनात्वा राजसूय फलं लभेत ॥ ३-८२-६९ ॥
'Next, by proceeding to Vārāṇasī and worshipping the deity marked by the bull, and after bathing in the Kapilā river, one attains the merit of the Rājasūya sacrifice.' ॥ 3-82-69 ॥

tatò vArANasIM gatvA arcayitvA vRSadhvajama kapilA harade naraH sanAtvA rAjasUya phalaM labheta ॥ 3-82-69 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमार्कण्डेयस्य राजेन्द्र तीर्थम आसाद्य दुर्लभम गॊमती गङ्गयॊश चैव संगमे लॊकविश्रुते अग्निष्टॊमम अवाप्नॊति कुलं चैव समुद्धरेत ॥ ३-८२-७० ॥
'Next, upon arriving at the renowned tirtha of Markandeya, located at the confluence of the Ganges, one gains the merit of the Agnistoma sacrifice and uplifts one’s lineage.' ॥ 3-82-70 ॥

mArkaNDeyasya rAjendra tIrthama AsAdya durlabhama gòmatI gaGgayòza caiva saMgame lòkavizrute agniSTòmama avApnòti kulaM caiva samuddhareta ॥ 3-82-70 ॥
