ततश चीरवतीं गच्छेत पुण्यां पुण्यतमैर वृताम पितृदेवार्चन रतॊ वाजपेयम अवाप्नुयात ॥ ३-८२-६१ ॥

sanskrit

'Then, one should journey to the sacred Kshiravati, frequented by those of even greater holiness. By worshipping the gods and the ancestors there, one attains the merit of the Vājapeya sacrifice.' ॥ 3-82-61 ॥

'Next, one should journey to the sacred Gopratra on the Sarayu, from which Rāma, O king, along with all his attendants and animals, renounced his body and ascended to heaven, solely due to the sanctity of that tirtha.' ॥ 3-82-63 ॥

'Bathing in that tirtha, O Bharata, one’s soul becomes purified of all sins through Rāma's grace and one's own virtuous deeds, and thus one is honored in heaven. O Bharata!' ॥ 3-82-64 ॥
