शतसाहस्रिकं तत्र तीर्थं भरतसत्तम तत्रॊपस्पर्शनं कृत्वा नियतॊ नियताशनः गॊसहस्रफलं पुण्यं पराप्नॊति भरतर्षभ ॥ ३-८२-६७ ॥
'There, O bull of the Bharata race, lies another tirtha known as Shatasahasrika. By bathing there, with controlled senses and a regulated diet, one reaps the merit of donating a thousand cows, O best of the Bharata race.' ॥ 3-82-67 ॥
