शङ्खिनीं तत्र आसाद्य तीर्थसेवी कुरूद्वह देव्यास तीर्थे नरः सनात्वा लभते रूपम उत्तमम ॥ ३-८१-४१ ॥
'O son of the Kuru race, by then repairing to the tirtha known as Shankhini and bathing in the sacred waters of Devi-tirtha, one attains great prowess.' ॥ 3-81-41 ॥
english translation
ततॊ गच्छेत राजेन्द्र दवारपालम अरन्तुकम तस्य तीर्थं सरस्वत्यां यक्षेन्द्रस्य महात्मनाः तत्र सनात्वा नरॊ राजन्न अग्निष्टॊम फलं लभेत ॥ ३-८१-४२ ॥
'O king, one should then proceed to the tirtha known as Tarandaka, located on the banks of the Saraswati, which belongs to the illustrious chief of the Yakshas, one of the gatekeepers of Kuvera. Bathing there, one obtains the merit of the Agnishtoma sacrifice.' ॥ 3-81-42 ॥

ततॊ गच्छेत धर्मज्ञ बरह्मावर्तं नराधिप बरह्मावर्ते नरः सनात्वा बरह्मलॊकम अवाप्नुयात ॥ ३-८१-४३ ॥
'O virtuous king, one should next journey to the tirtha known as Brahmavarta. By bathing there, one ascends to the divine abode of Brahma.' ॥ 3-81-43 ॥

ततॊ गच्छेत धर्मज्ञ सुतीर्थकम अनुत्तमम यत्र संनिहिता नित्यं पितरॊ दैवतैः सह ॥ ३-८१-४४ ॥
'O king, one should then proceed to the revered tirtha known as Sutirtha, where the Pitris are perpetually in attendance alongside the gods.' ॥ 3-81-44 ॥
english translation
तत्राभिषेकं कुर्वीत पितृदेवार्चने रतः अश्वमेधम अवाप्नॊति पितृलॊकं च गच्छति ॥ ३-८१-४५ ॥
'One should bathe there and worship the Pitris and the gods. By doing so, one attains the merit of the horse-sacrifice and ultimately ascends to the realm of the Pitris.' ॥ 3-81-45 ॥
