तत्राभिषेकं कुर्वीत पितृदेवार्चने रतः अश्वमेधम अवाप्नॊति पितृलॊकं च गच्छति ॥ ३-८१-४५ ॥

sanskrit

'One should bathe there and worship the Pitris and the gods. By doing so, one attains the merit of the horse-sacrifice and ultimately ascends to the realm of the Pitris.' ॥ 3-81-45 ॥

english translation

tatrAbhiSekaM kurvIta pitRdevArcane rataH azvamedhama avApnòti pitRlòkaM ca gacchati ॥ 3-81-45 ॥
