एवम उक्त्वा तु संक्रुद्धा रथैः सर्वे पृथक पृथक निर्ययुः पाण्डवान हन्तुं संघशः कृतनिश्चयाः ।। ३-८-२१ ।।

sanskrit

'Each of them then mounted their chariots, eager for success, and proceeded in a body to confront and defeat the sons of Pandu.' ।। 3-8-21 ।।

english translation

evama uktvA tu saMkruddhA rathaiH sarve pRthaka pRthaka niryayuH pANDavAna hantuM saMghazaH kRtanizcayAH || 3-8-21 ||

hk transliteration

तान परस्थितान परिज्ञाय कृष्णद्वैपायनस तदा आजगाम विशुद्धात्मा दृष्ट्वा दिव्येन चक्षुषा ।। ३-८-२२ ।।

sanskrit

'Meanwhile, Krishna-Dwaipayana, who possessed divine insight, perceived their departure through his spiritual vision. He intervened, instructing them to cease their pursuit.' ।। 3-8-22 ।।

english translation

tAna parasthitAna parijJAya kRSNadvaipAyanasa tadA AjagAma vizuddhAtmA dRSTvA divyena cakSuSA || 3-8-22 ||

hk transliteration

परतिषिध्याथ तान सर्वान भगवाँल लॊकपूजितः परज्ञा चक्षुषम आसीनम उवाचाभ्येत्य सत्वरः ।। ३-८-२३ ।।

sanskrit

'After sending them away, the revered sage, honored by all worlds, quickly appeared before the king, whose insight served him well in perceiving the situation. The sage then addressed the monarch with the following words:' ।। 3-8-23 ।।

paratiSidhyAtha tAna sarvAna bhagavA~la lòkapUjitaH parajJA cakSuSama AsInama uvAcAbhyetya satvaraH || 3-8-23 ||
