यदि मां सिंहविक्रान्तॊ मत्तवारणवारणः नाभिगच्छति राजेन्द्रॊ विनशिष्याम्य असंशयम ॥ ३-७१-१२ ॥

sanskrit

'If Naishadha, whose voice is deep as thunderclouds, does not come to me today, I shall willingly enter a golden pyre. If that foremost of kings, as powerful as a lion and as formidable as an enraged elephant, does not appear before me, I shall surely perish.' ॥ 3-71-12 ॥

english translation

yadi mAM siMhavikrAntò mattavAraNavAraNaH nAbhigacchati rAjendrò vinaziSyAmya asaMzayama ॥ 3-71-12 ॥
