कदा नु खलु दुःखस्य पारं यास्यति वै शुभा भर्तुः समागमात साध्वी रॊहिणी शशिनॊ यथा ॥ ३-६५-२१ ॥

'Alas! When will this girl, adorned with auspicious marks and devoted to her husband, traverse this ocean of grief and once again embrace her lord, like Rohini reuniting with the Moon?' ॥ 3-65-21 ॥

english translation

kadA nu khalu duHkhasya pAraM yAsyati vai zubhA bhartuH samAgamAta sAdhvI ròhiNI zazinò yathA ॥ 3-65-21 ॥

अस्या नूनं पुनर लाभान नैषधः परीतिम एष्यति राजा राज्यपरिभ्रष्टः पुनर लब्ध्वेव मेदिनीम ॥ ३-६५-२२ ॥

'Undoubtedly, the king of the Nishadhas will experience the same joy in reclaiming her as a king feels upon regaining his lost kingdom.' ॥ 3-65-22 ॥

asyA nUnaM punara lAbhAna naiSadhaH parItima eSyati rAjA rAjyaparibhraSTaH punara labdhveva medinIma ॥ 3-65-22 ॥

तुल्यशीलवयॊयुक्तां तुल्याभिजनसंयुताम नैषधॊ ऽरहति वैदर्भीं तं चेयम असितेक्षणा ॥ ३-६५-२३ ॥

'Equal to her in nature, age, and lineage, Nala is deserving of the daughter of Vidarbha, and this maiden with her enchanting black eyes is equally worthy of him.' ॥ 3-65-23 ॥

tulyazIlavayòyuktAM tulyAbhijanasaMyutAma naiSadhò 'rahati vaidarbhIM taM ceyama asitekSaNA ॥ 3-65-23 ॥

युक्तं तस्याप्रमेयस्य वीर्यसत्त्ववतॊ मया समाश्वासयितुं भार्यां पतिदर्शनलालसाम ॥ ३-६५-२४ ॥

'It is my duty to console the queen of that hero, endowed with immeasurable prowess and strength, for she longs to reunite with her husband.' ॥ 3-65-24 ॥

yuktaM tasyAprameyasya vIryasattvavatò mayA samAzvAsayituM bhAryAM patidarzanalAlasAma ॥ 3-65-24 ॥

अयम आश्वासयाम्य एनां पूर्णचन्द्र निभाननाम अदृष्टपूर्वां दुःखस्य दुःखार्तां धयानतत्पराम ॥ ३-६५-२५ ॥

'I shall comfort this afflicted maiden, whose face resembles the full moon, enduring a suffering unprecedented for her, while constantly meditating on her lord.' ॥ 3-65-25 ॥
