गजेन्द्रविक्रमॊ धीमान दीर्घबाहुर अमर्षणः विक्रान्तः सत्यवाग धीरॊ भर्ता मम महायशाः निषधानाम अधिपतिः कच चिद दृष्टस तवया नलः ॥ ३-६१-५१ ॥
'Hast thou, O greatest of mountains, with thy numerous peaks soaring into the sky, glimpsed king Nala in this dreadful forest? Have you seen my husband, that illustrious ruler of the Nishadhas, Nala, whose stride is like that of a mighty elephant?' ॥ 3-61-51 ॥
