नाशुद्ध बाहुवीर्येण नाकृतास्त्रेण वा रणे भीष्मद्रॊणादयॊ युद्धे शक्त्याः परतिसमासितुम ॥ ३-४५-३१ ॥
'Without his sanctified prowess and skill, he would not be able to confront Bhishma, Drona, and the others in battle.' ॥ 3-45-31 ॥
english translation
nAzuddha bAhuvIryeNa nAkRtAstreNa vA raNe bhISmadròNAdayò yuddhe zaktyAH paratisamAsituma ॥ 3-45-31 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगृहीतास्त्रॊ गुडा केशॊ महाबाहुर महामनाः नृत्तवादित्रगीतानां दिव्यानां पारम एयिवान ॥ ३-४५-३२ ॥
'Inform Yudhishthira that the illustrious and mighty-armed Gudakesa, having acquired weapons, has also mastered the art of celestial dance and both instrumental and vocal music.' ॥ 3-45-32 ॥

gRhItAstrò guDA kezò mahAbAhura mahAmanAH nRttavAditragItAnAM divyAnAM pArama eyivAna ॥ 3-45-32 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptभवान अपि विविक्तानि तीर्थानि मनुजेश्वर भरातृभिः सहितः सर्वैर दरष्टुम अर्हत्य अरिंदम ॥ ३-४५-३३ ॥
'And you shall also tell him, O king of men and slayer of foes, that you, along with all your brothers, should visit the various sacred shrines.' ॥ 3-45-33 ॥

bhavAna api viviktAni tIrthAni manujezvara bharAtRbhiH sahitaH sarvaira daraSTuma arhatya ariMdama ॥ 3-45-33 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतीर्थेष्व आप्लुत्य पुण्येषु विपाप्मा विगतज्वरः राज्यं भॊक्ष्यसि राजेन्द्र सुखी विगतकल्मषः ॥ ३-४५-३४ ॥
'Having bathed in the holy waters and purified by virtues, O king, you shall enjoy the kingdom, free from afflictions and with a heart devoid of sins.' ॥ 3-45-34 ॥

tIrtheSva Aplutya puNyeSu vipApmA vigatajvaraH rAjyaM bhòkSyasi rAjendra sukhI vigatakalmaSaH ॥ 3-45-34 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptभवांश चैनं दविजश्रेष्ठ पर्यटन्तं महीतले तरातुम अर्हति विप्राग्र्य तपॊबलसमन्वितः ॥ ३-४५-३५ ॥
'And, O foremost among the Brahmanas, endowed with ascetic power, it is your duty to protect Yudhishthira as he wanders the earth.' ॥ 3-45-35 ॥
