येन पूर्वं महात्मानः खनमाना रसातलम दर्शनाद एव निहताः सगरस्यात्मजा विभॊ ॥ ३-४५-२६ ॥
'By him, the great souls who had previously dug into the netherworld were slain merely by his sight—the sons of Sagara, O Lord.' ॥ 3-45-26 ॥
english translation
तेन कार्यं महत कार्यम अस्माकं दविजसत्तम पार्थेन च महायुद्धे समेताभ्याम असंशयम ॥ ३-४५-२७ ॥
'By him, a great task shall be accomplished, O exalted sage. Together with Partha, in the great battle, there is no doubt about it.' ॥ 3-45-27 ॥

अयं तेषां समस्तानां शक्तः परतिसमासने तान निहत्य रणे शूरः पुनर यास्यति मानुषान ॥ ३-४५-२८ ॥
'This Arjuna is also capable of confronting them all, and after defeating them in battle, the hero will return to the realm of men.' ॥ 3-45-28 ॥

भवांश चास्मन नियॊगेन यातु तावन महीतलम काम्यके दरक्ष्यसे वीरं निवसन्तं युधिष्ठिरम ॥ ३-४५-२९ ॥
'Go to earth at my request. You will see the brave Yudhishthira living in the woods of Kamyaka.' ॥ 3-45-29 ॥

स वाच्यॊ मम संदेशाद धर्मात्मा सत्यसंगरः नॊत्कण्ठा फल्गुने कार्या कृतास्त्रः शीघ्रम एष्यति ॥ ३-४५-३० ॥
'Convey to the virtuous Yudhishthira, who is unmatched in battle, that he need not worry about Phalguna. That hero will return to earth as a master of weapons.' ॥ 3-45-30 ॥
