नापि यज्ञहनैः कषुद्रैर दरष्टुं शक्यः कथं चन पानपैर गुरु तल्पैश च मांसादैर वा दुरात्मभिः ॥ ३-४४-६ ॥
'Nor those who disturbed sacrifices, who were base in character, who indulged in intoxicating liquors, who violated their preceptors' beds, who consumed unsanctified meat or who were wicked were equally unworthy.' ॥ 3-44-6 ॥
