एवम उक्तः परत्युवाच सहस्राक्षं धनंजयः न लॊकान न पुनः कामान न देवत्वं कुतः सुखम ।। ३-३८-४० ।।

sanskrit

'Thus addressed, Dhananjaya replied to the chief of the celestials: "O thousand-eyed one, I seek neither heavenly realms, nor worldly pleasures, nor divine status. My desire is not for transient happiness or the prosperity of the gods. What I truly seek is the knowledge of all weapons."' ।। 3-38-40 ।।

english translation

evama uktaH paratyuvAca sahasrAkSaM dhanaMjayaH na lòkAna na punaH kAmAna na devatvaM kutaH sukhama || 3-38-40 ||
