सर्वे कौरव सैन्यस्य सपुत्रामात्यसैनिकाः संविभक्ता हि मात्राभिर भॊगैर अपि च सर्वशः ॥ ३-३७-११ ॥

'All the officers of the Kuru army, along with their sons and relatives, have been honored by Duryodhana with wealth and luxuries.' ॥ 3-37-11 ॥

sarve kaurava sainyasya saputrAmAtyasainikAH saMvibhaktA hi mAtrAbhira bhògaira api ca sarvazaH ॥ 3-37-11 ॥

दुर्यॊधनेन ते वीरा मानिताश च विशेषतः पराणांस तयक्ष्यन्ति संग्रामे इति मे निश्चिता मतिः ॥ ३-३७-१२ ॥

'Those heroes are also regarded highly by Duryodhana. This is my certain conclusion that they will sacrifice their lives for Duryodhana in battle.' ॥ 3-37-12 ॥

duryòdhanena te vIrA mAnitAza ca vizeSataH parANAMsa tayakSyanti saMgrAme iti me nizcitA matiH ॥ 3-37-12 ॥

समा यद्य अपि भीष्मस्य वृत्तिर अस्मासु तेषु च दरॊणस्य च महाबाहॊ कृपस्य च महात्मनः ॥ ३-३७-१३ ॥

'Although Bhishma, Drona, and the illustrious Kripa treat us with the same conduct as they do them, yet, O mighty-armed one .' ॥ 3-37-13 ॥

samA yadya api bhISmasya vRttira asmAsu teSu ca daròNasya ca mahAbAhò kRpasya ca mahAtmanaH ॥ 3-37-13 ॥

अवश्यं राजपिण्डस तैर निर्वेश्य इति मे मतिः तस्मात तयक्ष्यन्ति संग्रामे पराणान अपि सुदुस्त्यजान ॥ ३-३७-१४ ॥

'This is my firm conclusion: to repay the royal favors they have received, they will sacrifice their very lives in battle, which is the most precious thing to them.' ॥ 3-37-14 ॥

avazyaM rAjapiNDasa taira nirvezya iti me matiH tasmAta tayakSyanti saMgrAme parANAna api sudustyajAna ॥ 3-37-14 ॥

सर्वे दिव्यास्त्रविद्वांसः सर्वे धर्मपरायणाः अजेयाश चेति मे बुद्धिर अपि देवैः सवासवैः ॥ ३-३७-१५ ॥

'All of them are masters of celestial weapons and devoted to the practice of virtue. I believe they are so formidable that even the gods, led by Indra himself, would find them invincible.' ॥ 3-37-15 ॥

sarve divyAstravidvAMsaH sarve dharmaparAyaNAH ajeyAza ceti me buddhira api devaiH savAsavaiH ॥ 3-37-15 ॥
