तदैव चेद वीरकर्माकरिष्यॊ; यदा दयूते परिघं पर्यमृक्षः बाहू दिधक्षन वारितः फल्गुनेन; किं दुष्कृतं भीम तदाब्भविष्यत ।। ३-३५-१५ ।।

sanskrit

'At the time of the game, thou hadst sought to bind my hands with a dire oath. You were restrained by Arjuna and thus could only grasp your own hands. Had you been able to execute your desire, could this calamity have befallen us?' ।। 3-35-15 ।।

english translation

tadaiva ceda vIrakarmAkariSyò; yadA dayUte parighaM paryamRkSaH bAhU didhakSana vAritaH phalgunena; kiM duSkRtaM bhIma tadAbbhaviSyata || 3-35-15 ||
