दानं यज्ञं सतां पूजा वेद धारणम आर्जवम एष धर्मः परॊ राजन फलवान परेत्य चेह च ।। ३-३४-४५ ।।

sanskrit

'Charity, sacrifice, reverence for the wise, study of the Vedas, and honesty—these, O king, represent the highest virtue and are effective both in this life and the next.' ।। 3-34-45 ।।

english translation

dAnaM yajJaM satAM pUjA veda dhAraNama Arjavama eSa dharmaH parò rAjana phalavAna paretya ceha ca || 3-34-45 ||
