कारणं तस्य देहॊ ऽयं धातुः कर्मणि कर्मणि स यथा परेरयत्य एनं तथायं कुरुते ऽवशः ॥ ३-३३-२१ ॥

sanskrit

'This body is but an instrument in the hands of the Supreme Lord, performing the acts that are decreed. In itself inert, it acts only as God directs it.' ।। 3-33-21 ।।

english translation

kAraNaM tasya dehò 'yaM dhAtuH karmaNi karmaNi sa yathA parerayatya enaM tathAyaM kurute 'vazaH ॥ 3-33-21 ॥
