अथ वा पुरुषैर गूढैः परयॊगॊ ऽयं दुरात्मनः भवेद इति महाबाहुर बहुधा समचिन्तयत ॥ ३-२९७-७ ॥
'Or perhaps," he thought, "this is the work of that wicked-souled one, carried out through his secret agents." And thus did that highly intelligent, mighty-armed son of Dharma give way to many such reflections, turning over every possibility in his mind.' ॥ 3-297-7 ॥
