तत्रैनम उपतिष्ठन्ति बराह्मणा धनहेतवः नादेयं तस्य तत काले किं चिद अस्ति दविजातिषु ॥ ३-२९३-२२ ॥

sanskrit

'At that time, the Brāhmaṇas would approach him to solicit wealth. And there was nothing that he would withhold from the twice-born — no gift was ever denied them.' ॥ 3-293-22 ॥

english translation

tatrainama upatiSThanti barAhmaNA dhanahetavaH nAdeyaM tasya tata kAle kiM cida asti davijAtiSu ॥ 3-293-22 ॥
