अकामॊ वा सकामॊ वा न स नैष्यति ते वशम विबुधॊ मन्त्रसंशान्तॊ वाक्ये भृत्य इवानतः ॥ ३-२८९-१८ ॥
'Whether willing or not, by virtue of this sacred chant, that deity—gentle in guise and obedient as a servant—will become subject to thy power.' ॥ 3-289-18 ॥
