बिभेमि न तथा मृत्यॊर यथा बिभ्ये ऽनृताद अहम विशेषेण दविजातीनां सर्वेषां सर्वदा सताम परदाने जिवितस्यापि न मे ऽतरास्ति विचारणा ॥ ३-२८६-६ ॥
'Death does not fill me with as much dread as falsehood does. Above all, when it concerns the Brahmanas, I would not hesitate for a moment to lay down my very life for them.' ॥ 3-286-6 ॥
