दीर्घायुर अथ वाल्पायुः सगुणॊ निर्गुणॊ ऽपि वा सकृद वृतॊ मया भर्ता न दवितीयं वृणॊम्य अहम ॥ ३-२७८-२६ ॥
'Be he long-lived or short-lived, adorned with virtues or stripped of them — the husband I have chosen once, I shall never choose again.' ॥ 3-278-26 ॥
