अवध्यः सर्वभूतानां मत्प्रसादात पुराभवत कस्माच चित कारणात पापः कं चित कालम उपेक्षितः ॥ ३-२७५-३१ ॥
'It was by my grace that he had long remained invincible to all creatures. Yet, for a certain reason, I chose to tolerate him for a time.' ॥ 3-275-31 ॥
english translation
वधार्थम आत्मनस तेन हृता सीता दुरात्मना नलकूबर शापेन रक्षा चास्याः कृता मया ॥ ३-२७५-३२ ॥
'That wretch abducted Sītā only for his own destruction. As for Sītā, her protection was secured by me through the curse of Nalakūbera.' ॥ 3-275-32 ॥
english translation
यदि हय अकामाम आसेवेत सत्रियम अन्याम अपि धरुवम शतधास्य फलेद देह इत्य उक्तः सॊ ऽभवत पुरा ॥ ३-२७५-३३ ॥
'For that person had once cursed Rāvaṇa, declaring that if he ever approached a woman against her will, his body would surely be shattered into a hundred pieces.' ॥ 3-275-33 ॥

नात्र शङ्का तवया कार्या परतीछेमां महाद्युते कृतं तवया महत कार्यं देवानाम अमरप्रभ ॥ ३-२७५-३४ ॥
'Let there be no doubt in your heart, O illustrious one — accept your wife! Truly, you have accomplished a mighty deed for the sake of the gods, O you of divine radiance.' ॥ 3-275-34 ॥

[दषरथ] परीतॊ ऽसमि वत्स भद्रं ते पिता दरशथॊ ऽसमि ते अनुजानामि राज्यं च परशाधि पुरुषॊत्तम ॥ ३-२७५-३५ ॥
'And last of all, Daśaratha said: "I am pleased with you, my son. Blessings upon you! I am your father, Daśaratha. I bid you — take back your wife and rule the kingdom, O foremost of men."' ॥ 3-275-35 ॥
