तं दृष्ट्वा तस्य दुर्बुद्धेर अविन्ध्यः पापनिश्चयम शमयाम आस संक्रुद्धं शरूयतां येन हेतुना ।। ३-२७३-२८ ।।

sanskrit

'Then Avindhya, perceiving the sinful intent of that wicked wretch, sought to pacify his wrath. Listen, O Yudhishthira, to the words of reason he spoke!' ।। 3-273-28 ।।

english translation

taM dRSTvA tasya durbuddhera avindhyaH pApanizcayama zamayAma Asa saMkruddhaM zarUyatAM yena hetunA || 3-273-28 ||
