ततः सुतुमुलं युद्धम अभवल लॊमहर्षणम दूषणानुजयॊः पार्थ लक्ष्मणस्य च धीमतः ।। ३-२७१-२१ ।।

sanskrit

'The ensuing battle, O son of Pritha, between those two younger brothers of Dushana and the wise Lakshmana, was exceedingly furious, causing the bristles of the spectators to stand on end.' ।। 3-271-21 ।।

english translation

tataH sutumulaM yuddhama abhavala lòmaharSaNama dUSaNAnujayòH pArtha lakSmaNasya ca dhImataH || 3-271-21 ||

महता शरवर्षेण राक्षसौ सॊ ऽभयवर्षत तौ चापि वीरौ संक्रुद्धाव उभौ तौ समवर्षताम ।। ३-२७१-२२ ।।

sanskrit

'Lakshmana overwhelmed the two Rakshasas with a perfect shower of arrows. In response, both of the Rakshasa heroes, filled with fury, covered Lakshmana with a hail of arrows.' ।। 3-271-22 ।।
