अभिगच्छाव सुग्रीवं शैलस्थं हरिपुंगवम मयि शिष्ये च भृत्ये च सहाये च समाश्वस ॥ ३-२६४-६ ॥
'Let us go to Sugrīva, that foremost of monkeys, who now dwells upon the mountain. Take heart, for I am by your side—as your disciple, your servant, and your steadfast ally!' ॥ 3-264-6 ॥
english translation
abhigacchAva sugrIvaM zailasthaM haripuMgavama mayi ziSye ca bhRtye ca sahAye ca samAzvasa ॥ 3-264-6 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएवं बहुविधैर वाक्यैर लक्ष्मणेन सराघवः उक्तः परकृतिम आपेदे कार्ये चानन्तरॊ ऽभवत ॥ ३-२६४-७ ॥
'Thus spoken to by Lakṣmaṇa in such words and others of like meaning, Rāma regained his composure and turned his attention to the task at hand.' ॥ 3-264-7 ॥

evaM bahuvidhaira vAkyaira lakSmaNena sarAghavaH uktaH parakRtima Apede kArye cAnantarò 'bhavata ॥ 3-264-7 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनिषेव्य वारि पम्पायास तर्पयित्वा पितॄन अपि परतस्थतुर उभौ वीरौ भरातरौ रामलक्ष्मणौ ॥ ३-२६४-८ ॥
'Having bathed in the waters of Pampā and offered oblations to their ancestors, the two heroic brothers, Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa, set out for Ṛśyamūka.' ॥ 3-264-8 ॥

niSevya vAri pampAyAsa tarpayitvA pitRRna api paratasthatura ubhau vIrau bharAtarau rAmalakSmaNau ॥ 3-264-8 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptताव ऋश्यमूकम अभ्येत्य बहुमूलफलं गिरिम गिर्यग्रे वानरान पञ्च वीरौ ददृशतुस तदा ॥ ३-२६४-९ ॥
'Upon reaching Ṛśyamūka, abundant with fruits, roots, and trees, those heroic brothers beheld five monkeys atop the mountain peak.' ॥ 3-264-9 ॥

tAva RzyamUkama abhyetya bahumUlaphalaM girima giryagre vAnarAna paJca vIrau dadRzatusa tadA ॥ 3-264-9 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसुग्रीवः परेषयाम आस सचिवं वानरं तयॊः बुद्धिमन्तं हनूमन्तं हिमवन्तम इव सथितम ॥ ३-२६४-१० ॥
'Seeing them draw near, Sugrīva sent his counselor, the wise Hanūmān, mighty as the Himavat mountains, to receive them.' ॥ 3-264-10 ॥
