उभौ रुधिरसंसिक्तौ नखदन्त परिक्षतौ शुशुभाते तदा वीरौ पिश्पिताव इव किंशुकौ ॥ ३-२६४-३२ ॥

'Mangled by each other’s nails and teeth, their bodies ran crimson with blood, so that the two heroes shone like a pair of blooming kiṁśuka trees.' ।। 3-264-32 ।।

ubhau rudhirasaMsiktau nakhadanta parikSatau zuzubhAte tadA vIrau pizpitAva iva kiMzukau ॥ 3-264-32 ॥
