अपश्येतां मुहूर्ताच च कबन्धं घॊरदर्शनम मेघपर्वत संकाशं शालस्कन्धं महाभुजम उरॊगतविशालाक्षं महॊदरमहामुखम ॥ ३-२६३-२५ ॥
'And soon they beheld a headless Rakshasa of dreadful appearance—dark as storm clouds and vast as a mountain. His broad shoulders resembled those of a towering Sāla tree, and his massive arms stretched wide. He had two large eyes set upon his chest, while the gaping maw of his mouth lay upon his enormous belly.' ॥ 3-263-25 ॥
