कुम्भकर्णम अथॊवाच तथैव परपितामहः स वव्रे महतीं निद्रां तमसा गरस्तचेतनः ॥ ३-२५९-२८ ॥
'Then the great Grandsire addressed Kumbhakarṇa as before. With his mind shrouded in darkness, he foolishly chose deep, unending sleep.' ॥ 3-259-28 ॥
