एवम उक्तस तु सव्रीडं तूष्णीं किं चिद अवाङ्मुखः जगाम राजा दुःखार्तॊ गङ्गा दवाराय भारत ॥ ३-२५६-२४ ॥
'Thus addressed by Yudhishthira, the prince, O Bharata, overwhelmed with shame, bent his head in silence and sorrowfully made his way to the place where the Ganga descends onto the plains.' ॥ 3-256-24 ॥
